The San Francisco Veterans Affairs Health Care System site provides investigators with a full-service outpatient research center in which they can study both veterans and non-veterans alike. The facilities include an on-staff Nurse, two outpatient examination rooms, and a core laboratory service.
Investigators seeking to conduct research within the SFVAHCS site must have protocols approved by the VA R&D committee in addition to IRB and CRS Advisory Committee.
